The 2.75 2-way Post Convex Cap from Aluglobus Aluminum Systems is a 2.75 inch convex post cap made for the 2.75 2-way post system. Its gently domed top closes the end of the post, keeps out rain and debris, and gives the fence line a softer, rounded finish than a flat lid. In the price list it is described as a pressurized (press-fit) cap for 2-way posts.
In the price list, this cap sits in the 2-way post parts group (by piece) next to the 2.75 2-way post itself, which is sold in lengths such as the 2.75 2-way post 8 ft and the 2.75 2-way post 11 ft. That makes it the cap to choose when you are replacing a missing or damaged cap on a 2-way post or adding caps to posts bought individually. It is not intended for standard square posts, which use the flat press caps sized to each post.

2.75 2-way Post Convex Cap – Black is made from aluminum 6063-t6, finished with AAMA 2604 Super-Durable Powder Coating in black.
6063-T6 is an architectural aluminum alloy made for extruded profiles. It gives clean, consistent shapes and takes a powder coating evenly, which is why it is widely used for fences, gates and other exterior building products.
AAMA 2604 is the American Architectural Manufacturers Association specification for high-performance organic coatings, powder coatings included, on aluminum extrusions. It sets test requirements for outdoor color and gloss retention, chalking and corrosion resistance.
