This 3/8 inch channel cover spacer from Aluglobus Aluminum Systems is the smallest of the six channel cover spacer sizes in the price list. It is an optional black aluminum accessory for the C-Channel Kit, which combines a C-channel, a cover and a cap, and its listed usage is Channel Cover Spacers.
The shop also sells 3/8 in. spacers for the 2.75 2-way post, where the price list does say they set a 3/8 gap between slats. That is a different part for a different system. If your fence is built on 2-way posts, you want the 3/8 in. 2-way post spacer pack. If your slats run in a C-channel, this is the part to look at.

Channel Cover Spacers 3/8 in. – Black is made from aluminum 6063-t6, finished with AAMA 2604 Super-Durable Powder Coating in black.
6063-T6 is an architectural aluminum alloy made for extruded profiles. It gives clean, consistent shapes and takes a powder coating evenly, which is why it is widely used for fences, gates and other exterior building products.
AAMA 2604 is the American Architectural Manufacturers Association specification for high-performance organic coatings, powder coatings included, on aluminum extrusions. It sets test requirements for outdoor color and gloss retention, chalking and corrosion resistance.
