Introduction to the Contractor Line
All Al Globis welcome to the channel. We’re assembling our contractor line, which a DIY can also use, but it’s engineered for contractors. It’s super, super durable. You’re tapping your screws direct into the flat, so you know it’s not going to go anywhere ever, not depending on any brackets. But we’re going here with a 3/4 gap
Team Installation Process
We’re working as a team together to make the job easier. You can do it yourself probably, but it’ll take you a lot more time. Now there are two ways to do the installation of the contractor line: you can tap the screw on every slat, or you can tap the screw only on the top and bottom slats and just have the middle slats free. In the middle section, they’re not going to go anywhere. But if you do that, you’re going to have to use spacers. Some contractors like to use spacers, some don’t, so it’s really up to the contractor or the homeowner to decide how they want to do the application.

Setting Up Posts and Aligning the First Slat
Basically, first, how we like to do it: set your post in concrete, get your level, get your lineup, get your first slat on the top. That way, you know your line is beautiful and nice, and start working your way as you go. Right now, the slats are in the channels, so they’re stuck in the channels. This line is super durable, super nice, fully 100% aluminum made in the US, powder-coated in the US. You can do any color if you want.
Durable Features of the Contractor Line
We have a breaker point in the middle for stability and no buckling, so our slats will never buckle. We have a lifetime guarantee on buckling—this will never buckle on you. Working together as a team makes the job a lot easier. It’s a super durable system made for contractors, but anyone can install this. It’s super easy and durable.
Installation of Stainless Steel Components
We use hex screws, stainless steel—all of our components are stainless steel. You don’t want anything to rust. You paid all this money for a beautiful fence that’s fully powder-coated, so you want all your hardware to be stainless steel. These slats come in 6 ft and 18 ft lengths. This system is really great for wall toppers.

Customizing the Fence for the Perfect Fit
A lot of clients ask us what happens at the bottom if you don’t come out with an exact slat like we have right here. What we’ll do is you’ll buy our smaller slat, and you’ll be able to finish with a different last slat to get the exact size you need. There’s no problem with the last slat being slightly different.
Efficiency of Installation
Now when it’s all intact, this thing is not going anywhere. We got two panels up within 20 minutes after putting the concrete. Super easy. If I need to change anything, I just take the screws out or the spacers, depending on the system. Al Globus contractors or any interested DIYers can also install this. See you guys on your next project.
